Hey Sis, I'm Melissa Renée — the heart and mind behind Soft n' Black.
This space was born from my own healing journey — a sacred return to softness, self-trust, and the divine power of Black femininity. For years, I carried the weight of survival, perfectionism, and pain. But beneath it all, I was yearning to be seen, held, and whole — not just strong, but soft.
Soft n’ Black is more than a brand — it’s a movement. A homecoming. A reclamation.
It’s where Black women come to shed the armor, tap into their divine feminine essence, and embody a softer, more intuitive way of living — without apology.
Through content, community, and conversation, I create intentional spaces that guide Black women into their glow: healing mother wounds, shedding the “strong Black woman” mask, and stepping into the aura of softness, confidence, and radiant self-worth.
I’m not here to tell you who to be — I’m here to remind you who you’ve always been.

Soft n’ Black is a soulful sanctuary for Black women returning to their feminine power.
Rooted in healing, softness, and divine energy, this space invites Black women to reclaim what’s always belonged to them: their intuition, their tenderness, and their wholeness.
We are the women breaking generational cycles.
The ones choosing self-trust over struggle, softness over survival, and radiance over resentment.
Here, femininity isn’t about aesthetics — it’s about essence.
We explore what it means to be deeply in tune with ourselves, to nurture our inner child, to strengthen our intuition, and to embody confidence that doesn’t need permission.
